Gas prices drop
MARQUETTE — The average gasoline prices in Michigan have fallen 12.8 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.76/g today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 4,913 stations in Michigan. Prices in Michigan are 38.4 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 47.8 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has decreased 3.7 cents compared to a week ago and stands at $3.591 per gallon.
According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Michigan was priced at $2.33/g yesterday while the most expensive was $5.21/g, a difference of $2.88/g. The lowest price in the state yesterday was $2.33/g while the highest was $5.21/g, a difference of $2.88/g.
The national average price of gasoline has fallen 4.1 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.98/g today. The national average is down 19.3 cents per gallon from a month ago and stands 15.2 cents per gallon lower than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data compiled from more than 11 million weekly price reports covering over 150,000 gas stations across the country.
