MARQUETTE — From noon-2:30 p.m.Saturday, a fall color tour will start at the northernmost Sugarloaf parking lot off of Marquette County Road 550. The tour will include the whole Sugarloaf summit hike. The hike difficulty is rugged and up-hill. Please wear appropriate gear.

Join MooseWood volunteer and forester Sean Fischer. Learn how to identify different Upper Peninsula species of trees, the ecology of U.P. forests and how we coexist with the forests. This tour is not handicapped-accessible.

The suggested age range is 12 years and up but all are welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult. The registration email is moosewoodnc@gmail.com. Registration is not required but appreciated.
