CU Kind Day 2025 observed
MANISTIQUE – On Oct. 13, Limestone Financial Credit Union celebrated CU Kind Day 2025 by bringing financial literacy and acts of kindness to students in Schoolcraft and Chippewa counties.
Through interactive classroom activities and sessions, the credit union reached 508 (185 in Chippewa County and 323 in Schoolcraft County) kindergarten through fourth grade students, helping them build essential financial skills in a fun and engaging way.
Using grant funds provided by the Michigan Credit Union Foundation, Limestone FCU was able to support the community through its CU Kind Day initiatives. These initiatives are important because they directly support teachers, students, and families in our communities.
During the event, students participated in activities including financial worksheets, classroom readings, and interactive games designed to make learning about money approachable and memorable. At the conclusion of each session, students contributed to a “Kindness Wall” by sharing acts of kindness they had performed throughout the year.
