L’ANSE — The Baraga County Chamber of Commerce regrets to announce the cancellation of its planned bingo venture. While the chamber was granted a license by the state of Michigan, unforeseen complications related to the venue location have made it impossible to proceed. At this time, the chamber will not be pursuing bingo in the near future.

“We appreciate everyone who helped spread the word and supported our efforts,” said a chamber press release. “Your enthusiasm and willingness to share information meant a great deal to us.”

The chamber remains committed to exploring future opportunities that bring the community together and will continue to provide updates on upcoming initiatives.
