NMU homecoming parade route cited

MARQUETTE — Northern Michigan University will hold its annual homecoming parade starting at 5:30 p.m. Friday. The route will start in the NMU parking lot off Pine Street, head south on Pine Street to Fair Avenue, head west on Fair Avenue to Third Street, head south on Third Street to Hewitt Avenue, head east on Hewitt Avenue to Front Street, head north on Front Street to return to the start.

The parade will be escorted by the Marquette City Police and streets along the route will be closed to through traffic during the parade.
