Marquette Regional History Center presents: 4th Biennial Lake Superior Fiber
MARQUETTE– Marquette Regional History Center gets ready to present its 4th Biennial Lake Superior Fiber Festival on Saturday, October 4, from 9:30-4:00 p.m. at the Marquette Regional History Center.
Enjoy colorful displays of quilts, knits and other fiber arts. Watch several creative or educational demos, plus, submit your own creations to the Fashion Show. Win door prizes such as books, patterns, yarn and more. Take home free hands-on arts and crafts activities. Fun for all ages Included with general admission fee.
Lake Superior Fiber Festival is an open-house event. Come anytime 9:30-4:30. Great for all ages including families, clubs and individuals. General admission fee will cover entry to the museum and to Fiber Festival. Sponsor level museum members and above receive free admission.

There will also be a fashion show at Fiber Festival also on Oct. 4, but at 12:30 p.m.
Flaunt your socks, mittens, hats, sweaters, scarves, shawls, purses and any other sewn, quilted, woven, felted, knitted, crocheted or embroidered garments and accessories. This informal show will begin at 12:30pm and will last about 30 minutes. Consider wearing more than one handmade item. Children are welcome to participate.
