MARQUETTE — The League of Women Voters of Marquette County will hold its next general membership meeting at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1. Social time begins at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Heritage Room on the second floor of the Peter White Public Library, 217 N. Front St., Marquette.

After a brief business meeting, Dr. Robert Van Howe, Marquette County Health Department medical director, will present on how changes in federal health care funding and policies have affected health care in Marquette County, followed by a question and answer session.
