Diversity of the Tropics – Costa Rica on show
MARQUETTE — From 7-8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 2, in the Community Room of the Peter White Public Library in Marquette, the beauty and the diversity of life in the tropics will be on show through photos.
Noted local naturalist Scot Stewart and his family visited the country in May and he will present a look at the parks, animals, plants and other biological features making this country so special, from monkeys to praying mantes, orchids to waterfalls.
More than 20% of the country is preserved in national parks protecting that natural history. Come and take a look at the incredible life of this country.
