MARQUETTE — Marquette next year will become the site of the northern most Holiday Inn in Michigan. Construction of a complete Holiday Inn layout here will begin in early spring and will be finished in the fall of 1966, being open for business immediately on termination of the building project. The Holiday Inn layout here will be constructed south of U.S. 41, near the west entrance to the city, (within the Marquette city limits), opposite of the general area of the Four Seasons lounge and bowling alleys. Exactly how many motel units will be built has not yet been determined.
