BIG BAY – The young residents of Bay Cliff Health Camp had an unforgettable afternoon last week when the staff put on a carnival which included popcorn for all, and many ingenious concessions. Among these was a pitching gallery with a pair of camp counselors as targets, and wet sponges as ammunition. Every camper had a donkey ride, and other activities included a shooting contest with bow and arrow and balloons. The great event of the day was a baseball game played by members of the Air Police of K.I. Sawyer Air Force Base. One team was composed of clowns and the other was dressed in regulation garb with bright yellow caps. It was “crazy baseball” from start to finish.
