MANISTIQUE — Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Mach, MBA, FACHE, ARRT, as its new chief executive officer, effective Aug. 15. A past resident of Holly, Michigan, Mach brings decades of healthcare leadership experience and a strong record of operational excellence to the organization.

A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Mach began his healthcare career as a radiology technologist. He advanced into hospital-based radiology management roles in Tennessee and Vermont before transitioning into senior-level hospital administration. His previous executive experience includes:

• Chief Operating Officer at Littleton Regional Healthcare in Littleton, New Hampshire

• CEO at Select Specialty Hospital in Battle Creek, Michigan

• CEO for Ascension Borgess Medical System’s Borgess Allegan Hospital and Borgess Pipp Hospital in Allegan County, Michigan

• Most recently, CEO at Arbor Health in East Lewis County, Morton, Washington

With a passion for patient-centered care and a proven ability to lead organizations through growth and transformation, Mach is well-positioned to guide Schoolcraft Memorial Hospital during a pivotal time in the healthcare industry.
