MARQUETTE — Dale Ollila of Marquette was recently sworn in as Area 3 vice president for the Michigan Federation of National Active and Retired Federal Employees. He was elected in May at the NARFE Michigan Federation Conference in Clare.

Ollila is also president of NARFE chapter 1900, which is based in Marquette and covers most of the Upper Peninsula. Other chapter 1900 attendees at the state meeting included Barb Ollila of Marquette, chapter member; Clyde Morgan of Negaunee, chapter 1900 first vice president; and Maggie Morgan of Negaunee, Chapter secretary.

NARFE Chapter 1900 was chartered in 1983 and includes members from the Marquette, Escanaba, Rapid River, Ontonagon, L’Anse, Houghton and Hancock areas. For additional information, please email narfe1900.scty@gmail.com.
