MARQUETTE — At 5:30 p.m. June 23, at the Marquette Senior High School Library, the Marquette Area Public Schools Board of Education will hold a public hearing to consider the District’s proposed 2025-2026 budget.

The board cannot adopt its proposed 2025-2026 budget until after a public hearing. A copy of the proposed 2025-2026 budget, including the proposed property tax millage rate, is available for public inspection during normal business hours at 1201 W. Fair Ave., Marquette.

The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing.
