M-203 culvert replacement in Houghton County starts July 7
HANCOCK — The Michigan Department of Transportation is investing about $270,000 to replace a culvert on M-203 east of Salo Road (Bear Lake Road, Lakeshore Road) in Hancock Township, Houghton County.
The tentative date that the work will start is Monday, July 7, with the completion date set at Juny 18. Through-traffic will be detoured onto U.S.41.
Based on economic modeling, this investment is expected to directly and indirectly support three jobs. This work will help ensure continued safe and reliable operation of the roadway.
