Sewer overflow reported
At about 1 p.m. April 22, a sanitary sewer overflow was noted near 2201 Moran St., in Marquette Township.
Staff arrived on scene and began working on a broken pressure sewer cleanout. It’s believe frost heave sometime during the winter caused the break.

Marquette Township performed clean up duties and mitigated the affected area by applying powdered lime. No surface waters were impacted.
