MARQUETTE — From 1-3:30 p.m. Saturday, March 1, in the Peter White Public Library, Community Room, Michael Neiger of the MI Back Country Search and Rescue’s Long Range Special Operations Group will present a program based on child-safety best practices.

Information for the program comes from the National Association for Search and Rescue; the Search and Rescue Volunteer Association of Canada; the Royal Canadian Mounted Police; Adventure Smart Canada; the Michigan State Police; the FBI; “Missing-Person Sourcebook,” by Neiger; and the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
