Holiday art sale scheduled

MARQUETTE — The Marquette Regional History Center and city of Marquette Arts and Culture Center announce the 24th Annual Holiday Art Sale, to be held from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Nov. 16.

The sale will take place at the MRHC, located at 145 W. Spring St., in Marquette. The history center is a destination, providing holiday shoppers with access to world-class exhibits. The museum will hold an old-fashioned bake sale, their annual Dollhouse Days, a membership drive and the history center gift shop will be open for the event.

The following artists have been juried into this year’s sale: Amelia Pruiett, Tyler Gualdoni, Christopher Schmidt, Kalil Zender, Sandy and Chris Weber, Jenny Frein Hamel, JoAnn Deuel Shelby, Mary Ann Theis, Jason Limberg, Kristi Mills, Judy Parlato, Susan Estler, Kathy Binoniemi, Kay Johnson, Ann Golden, Marlene Wood, Elise Bunce, Mavis Farr, Lindsey Heiden, Candace Prill, Cassandra Bullock and wreaths by Shailah Pelto Samara Floral.

There will be a $2 admission fee, which includes entrance to the Holiday Art Sale, MRHC Exhibits, and all other activities. All proceeds support the MRHC, a private, non-profit 501(c3).
