Steven Bester, formerly of Marquette, and his wife, Mary Bester, are happy to announce the marriage of their daughter, Isabelle Bester of downstate Troy to her husband, Travis Kassak of Troy. The wedding was held on June 8 at the Townsend Hotel, Birmingham. Isabelle is an environmental engineer in Livonia and Travis is an operations manager in Troy. The couple are proud new homeowners in Troy. Also of note, Nikolaus Bester, Steve and Mary’s son, has recently relocated to Marquette with his long-term partner, Dr. Claire Spivey. They are both employed by U.P. Health System-Marquette. Nik is an ICU nurse, and Claire is Marquette’s newest family medicine doctor. Steve and Mary wish much happiness and success to their family on both sides of the bridge.
