MARQUETTE — Fifteen firemen were called out on a general alarm at 12:39 yesterday afternoon when a blaze broke out in a tar wagon at the new Marquette Senior High School building site off W. College and Lincoln Aves. Firemen said the tar wagon, or kettle, belonging to the H. H. Pellow & Sons, Inc., firm became overheated and began to burn. Fifteen gallons of foam liquid and two 30-pound dry powder extinguishers were used to extinguish the flames. Shovels were also used to throw sand onto the wagon.

Starting at $3.23/week.
