CHASSELL — The Michigan Department of Transportation is investing about $600,000 to make concrete pavement repairs on US 41 south of Chassell between North Entry Road and Wilson Memorial Drive, Houghton County.
Work, which will start Aug. 17 and conclude Sept. 27, includes concrete sawing, patching and joint sealing.
Work will require single-lane closures on US 41, generally between the hours of 6 a.m. and midnight, Monday through Friday.
One lane of alternating traffic will be maintained using traffic regulators. This schedule is subject to change.
