GWINN — Numerous ambulances, emergency medical technicians, and first responders will converge on Gwinn Saturday, but it will be for pleasure instead of a crisis. The Marquette County EMS Driving Rodeo and Fun Fair will be held at 10 am Saturday at the Gwinn High School. The driving rodeo will include a two-hour classroom session and a driving course. The course will be set up to test and improve ambulance driving skills..

MARQUETTE — Wednesday, July 29, will be Sidewalk Circus Day in Marquette. The promotion is sponsored by the Marquette Chamber of Commerce. Stores will remain open until 9 pm on Sidewalk Circus Day, and retail members of the chamber will have a booth on the sidewalk in front of their stores. Several parade events are being planned for children on the day of the Circus and cash prizes will be awarded to contestants in the events.
