MARQUETTE -- Marquette-based MQT Hospitality Inc. has purchased Velodrome Coffee Company, adding to a portfolio which includes 231 West Patisserie and Cruisin' Coffee locations, all of which have been long time customers and wholesale partners of Velodrome Coffee.
The group and its principal partners Matthew Beardsley, Erin Beardsley and Iver Johnson, will continue to operate Velodrome with the same team, branding, and operations. The acquisition includes Velodrome wholesale roasting, equipment sales and service and three retail locations including the newly opened Michigan Tech University campus cafe.
