MARQUETTE — The Marquette City Commission will conduct a public hearing at 7 p.m. June 13 to consider reconstructing West Nicolet Boulevard. The city wants to repair breaks in the pavement caused when frozen and broken water lines were fixed earlier this year. City crews also will add curbs and gutters; property owners would pay for that work through a special assessment. The commission meets at city hall. The project must be approved by the Planning Commission June 21 and the City Commission, which hopes to award bids July 18. (92)
