Parade grand marshal reported
MARQUETTE — The Marquette Kiwanis are thrilled to announce that Derek Lindstrom will be the grand marshal for this year’s July 4th parade, marking the city’s 175th anniversary.
Derek and his father have a long-standing tradition of distributing over 1,000 American flags to youth from their decorated antique car at the beginning of each Marquette parade for a combined 40 years.
Their dedication has become a beloved tradition that exemplifies Marquette’s community spirit and patriotism.
