Gwinn competes in High School Bowl

The Gwinn Modeltowners played the Houghton Gremlins in the second semi-final round of High School Bowl on April 6 and were defeated by a score of 170-230. Thirty-eight schools from the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin field teams for WNMU-TV’s High School Bowl tournament, now celebrating 45 years on the air. Running from November through the championship game in April, the High School Bowl series airs on WNMU-TV Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Mondays at 3 p.m. It is also available statewide on the Michigan Learning Channel.
