MARQUETTE — A spring storm dumped a foot of snow across the Northern Upper Peninsula Thursday. Wrecker companies were kept busy pulling cars out of ditches. Most of the problems we had were cars stuck in the ditch or bogged down in the snow, said Jeff Selesky, Marquette County Central Dispatch 900 coordinator. One Hancock woman was struck and pinned under a Chevrolet Suburban after slipping on ice, but is reported in fair condition at Portage View Hospital.
