MARQUETTE — Northern Natural Gas Co. expects to deliver natural gas to Marquette County and other points in the Upper Peninsula by Oct. 27, 1965. Vice president Herbert Sampson said his company will file an application with the Federal Power Commission within 30 days to serve 26 communities in the Upper Peninsula with natural gas. We are hopeful we are going to be able to save the iron ore companies in excess of half a million dollars a year, Sampson said.
