MARQUETTE — Grounds of the new Marquette Senior High School grew to 30.9 acres yesterday when the school board entered into an agreement to purchase 10 acres of land. The board of education approved a resolution to enter into the agreement to purchase with Munising Wood Products Co. at its regular meeting yesterday after in the Graveraet building. According to the agreement, the school board will pay $60,000 for the land, after Munising Wood meets specifications for demolition and clearing of the site.
