Pack 395 thanks community
MARQUETTE — Cub Scout Pack 395 which serves Graveraet and Sandy Knoll neighborhoods thanks the community for its support of their recent popcorn sale.
Recently the Pack recognized the Scouts who participated in its annual sale of Pecatonica River Popcorn. Total sold was $16,816. The Pack earned approximately 37% for its activities and programs plus additional earnings support the programs and facilities of the Bay Lakes Council, including Camp Hiawatha.
Lincoln Bovan was the pack’s top salesperson. He sold $2,062 in popcorn. Other top salespersons who achieved at least $800 in popcorn sales and received a pass to the theater were Ti Moyle, Alexander Wilson — also top online seller, Fynn Segroves –also Rookie of the Year, Raegan Buss, Jake Ludwig, and Eva Dombrowski.
The pack also conducted “Show and Sells” at local businesses. It appreciates Tadych’s Marketplace, WalMart, and Lowes for allowing sales on their properties. The Pack also appreciates Advance Auto Parts for its help in distributing the popcorn to local packs and troops.
Customers have the option of donating toward popcorn for the military in lieu of a purchase.
The local pack contributed eight cases of Double Butter Microwave Popcorn to the 107th Engineer Battalion of the Michigan National Guard using those donations. To learn more about the Cub Scout, Boy Scout, and Venture Scout programs in the area, visit https://beascout.scouting.org/.
