Munising participates in High School Bowl

The Munising “Mustangs” played the Norway “Knights” in a preliminary round of High School Bowl and won by a score of 210-100. Thirty-eight schools from the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin field teams for WNMU TV’s High School Bowl tournament, now celebrating 45 years on the air. Munising will advance to the second round when they play Calumet, scheduled to air on January 27. Running from November through the championship game in April, the High School Bowl series airs on WNMU-TV Saturdays at 8 p.m. and Mondays at 3 p.m. It is also available on the Michigan Learning Channel Mondays at 1 p.m. and 8 pm.
