Maritime Museum program on tap

MARQUETTE -- Marquette Maritime Museum's winter series, "Maritime History on Tap," presents an evening with Tim DeMarte and Dan Truckey (2/3 of the Celtic music trio The Knockabouts).

Tim and Dan's program of sea shanties, shipwreck ballads, and instrumental compositions reflecting the colorful and dangerous lives of sailors on the Great Lakes and beyond is at 7 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Ore Dock Brewing Company.

There is a $5 suggested donation at the door. The program will begin with a brief annual meeting of the Marquette Maritime Museum membership.
