ISHPEMING — The Friends of the Ishpeming Carnegie Public Library sponsor a sale of used books on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (Nov. 30 and Dec. 1-2).

The sale begins at 5 p.m. Thursday in the Leverton Community Room on the lower level of the library. At that time and on Friday, hardcovers will sell for $2 and paperbacks and children’s books for $1.

On Saturday from 10 a.m. until noon, all books will be half price, while in the afternoon there will be a bag sale, with books selling for $5 a bag.

Also on sale will be the 2024 historic Ishpeming calendar, ICPL T-Shirts and tote bags, the latest FOL recipe book and note cards and ornaments featuring local landmarks.
