Vaccine clinics set

MARQUETTE–The Marquette County Health Department will be holding two communitiy clinics for flu and COVID-19 vaccines within the next week.

On Saturday from 9 a.m. until noon at the Westwood Mall in Marquette. The second is at Aspen Ridge Elementary School from 3:30 to 6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 26. The flu vaccine is available for everyone 6 months and older and the Pfizer COVID vaccine will be available, while supplies last, for those five and older.

The COVID vaccine cost is covered for the uninsured by the MCHD’s participation in the Bridges program. Uninsured individuals seeking the flu vaccine will have to self-pay $30 by cash or check.

The MCHD asks that you visit the website, www.mqthealth.org to fill out the consent form which will need to be printed, signed and brought with you for faster service.
