L’ANSE — A man is being held in Baraga County jail in connection with a breaking and entering of two L’Anse service stations Friday night. The burglar gained entrance to the Kotila station by breaking several rear windows with a black of wood. At about the same time, someone hurled a boulder through a large plate glass window at the Mileage station across the highway. According to officers, the sound of crashing glass may have frightened away the intruder before he got inside the building. The suspect was picked up on U.S. 41, headed toward Marquette, at about 10:30 Saturday morning.
