PWPL used book sale this week

2 min read

MARQUETTE-- The Peter White Public Library is celebrating National Friends of Libraries Week this week. The Friends of PWPL run a bi-annual book sale from the Friends Used Book Store. In the past twelve months, the Friends raised a record-setting $50,000 through these efforts to support PWPL's collections, programs, and services.

The public is invited to sign a "Thank You" card near the used book store for the Friends of PWPL to honor their thousands of volunteer hours. The card is located near the Friends Used Book Store on the main level of PWPL.

Special thanks to the Friends of PWPL Board and Store Committee, including President David White, Vice President Caroline Jordon, Secretary Cathy Seblonka, and members Margi Licht-Mallo, Susie Colquitt, Bryn Smith, Mike Smith, Walter Wojtowicz, Marie Brooks, Joe Sabol, Lacee Hartzell, Dianne Patrick, Donna Keskimaki, Christine Ault and Vicki Reuling.
