ISHPEMING — The Ishpeming High School gymnasium, decorated in a fall motif, was the scene of the annual freshman girls’ tea. Over 400 girls and their guests enjoyed a pleasant afternoon, which included a varied program of singing, violin duets, vocal solos and remarks. Senior girls, acting as “big sisters” to the freshmen, prepared identification cards in the form of colorful autumn leaves and escorted one or more girls to the tea, where they were introduced to the faculty and other students.
