NEGAUNEE — The lights are on again at the Negaunee Schools’ football field. Work was completed at 8 p.m. Wednesday to replace 70 of the 94 light bulbs at the field, said David Hallgren, Negaunee High School athletic director. The lights were apparently damaged by lightning and more than half the bulbs were burned out by a power surge,” Hallgren said. The damage was discovered during a football scrimmage against Westwood High School Aug. 26.
