Recall language rejected
MARQUETTE — The Marquette County Election Commission today rejected the recall language submitted against Marquette Area Public Schools Board of Education members Jennifer Ray and Jennifer Klipp. The basis of the petition language was that the two were among the board members who voted in July to retire the Redmen/Redette nicknames of Marquette Senior High School. More details will be in Saturday’s Mining Journal.
