MACKINAC ISLAND -- The Mackinac Island Fudge Festival will run from Aug. 25-27, with fudge-themed specials and giveaways as well as food and beverage specials.
New this year, Mackinac Island debuted a first-of-its-kind "Fun-tastical Fudge Naming Competition," with the winner, "Crack in the Island Crunch, available only at these shops during the event: Joann's Fudge Shop, Kilwins Mackinac Island Fudge, May's Candy Shop, Original Murdick's Fudge, Ryba's Fudge Shops, and Sanders Fudge & Candy Shop.
The shops will create their version of the winning name.
