ISHPEMING — Seventy children of needy parents in the townships of Ishpeming, Tilden, Negaunee, Ely and Richmond, have received dental treatment during the last five days at the clinic being conducted in the Y.M.C.A. by Dr. Allen Collins, of the Michigan Children’s fund. Dr. Collins said that he expects to take care of over 80 children a week during the time he remains in Ishpeming and stated that only rural children whose parents are unable to provide dental treatment will be given consideration. Lists of deserving children in the five townships have been prepared by Mrs. Martha C. Johnson, of Ishpeming, county nurse.
