MARQUETTE — A Country Hearth delivery truck fire caught on fire early Thursday morning at Super One Foods, located along U.S. 41 West in Marquette Township.

The Marquette Township Fire Department said it received the report of the fire at 8 a.m., and responded with nine firefighters.

It took 20 minutes for the fire to be extinguished, although the truck smoldered for another hour. Firefighters cleared the scene at 9:45 a.m.

The MTFD said the driver noticed something was wrong with the truck and went inside the store to make a call.

Upon returning, the driver discovered the truck in flames.

No one was injured in the fire. The incident is still being investigated.
