Crash injures Marquette woman

A single vehicle crash in Skandia Township left a Marquette woman injured Friday the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office said.
MCSO deputies were dispatched to an area around Krieger Drive and Town Hall Road at about 9:17 p.m. Police say the car left the roadway and struck a large tree on private property.
The 65-year-old woman who was driving the car was transported to UP Health System — Marquette for unknown injuries.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Chocolay Township Police, the Skandia/West Branch Township Fire and EMS, UP Health Systems EMS, and Goodwin’s towing.
Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash, and the incident is under investigation.
