Army vet has successful hunt
In the picture from left are Terry Weigold, Duane Hollingshead and Jerry Weigold after a successful boar hunt in May.
For more than 20 years, Terry Weigold from UP Whitetails Association in Marquette has helped to coordinate and guide the annual boar hunt for the D.J. Jacobetti Home for Veterans. This year, veteran member, Duane Hollingshead, a veteran of the U.S. Army, shot a 250-pound wild boar. Special thanks to Greg Johnson of Bear Mountain LLC for donating the boar and lodge for the yearly hunt. Additional thanks to American Legion Greenwood #114 Auxiliary who prepares an incredible pig roast celebration for the hunter and D.J. Jacobetti members. And thank you Jerry Weigold from UP Whitetails Association Marquette who is Terry’s twin brother.
