EAST LANSING -- Registration is open for Michigan State University Extension's Backyard Fruit 101 online course.
The course is designed for introductory or beginning fruit gardeners. The self-paced course covers all the basics required to successfully grow small and large fruit in Michigan.
Topics include site selection and preparation, soil management, fruit selection, integrated pest management, care and management, and unusual fruit.
