MARQUETTE -- Smith Construction Inc. has begun removing and replacing sections of curb on Fourth Street between Washington Street and Arch Street and Lincoln Avenue between Washington Street and Jefferson Street in the city of Marquette.
Traffic will be maintained, however lane shifts, and flag control will be used. This work is a prerequisite for the resurfacing of these streets. The public is urged to use extreme caution and follow all traffic control measures.
Additional announcements will be made regarding the upcoming resurfacing activities, the city of Marquette said.
