MARQUETTE — This month’s Second Thursday Creativity Series at the Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum will be “Hoppity Hoops!” with special guests the Northern Michigan University men’s basketball team.

The event will be from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday.

It will be a chance for kids to experience hands-on craft activities, creative snacks, games with the NMU men’s basketball team and free Culver’s frozen custard. There is no charge to participate.

It will be a fun-filled evening of themed hands-on activity stations, a food craft, and Culver’s frozen custard.

Second Thursdays are free admission for all thanks to wonderful sponsors and bringing in a host of partners such as the Peter White Public Library, the Liberty Children’s Art Project, and GEI Engineers.
