Art Auction Benefit

April 1 – April 27

Peter White Public Library will be hosting a fundraiser art sale to benefit the Mining Journal Digitization Project. The art available for sale has been donated for this express purpose. Art will be on display starting April 1 and will be sold using a bucket auction format. Fine art will also be sold in a silent auction at our April 27 live event. The bucket drawing will also take place at the April 27 event. Bucket drawing tickets will go on sale April 1, 2023 at the PWPL Circulation Desk. 10 chances to win will be sold for $25.00 each. Meditate Marquette

Tuesdays April (4, 11, 18, 25) 5:30 – 7 p.m. Peter White Public Library Lion’s Room. Meditate Marquette and PWPL have joined together to provide a weekly in-person mindfulness meditation program. Instructional sessions will be held from 5:30-5:50pm for those who would like to learn how to meditate, have questions about meditation, or need guidance on their practice. Starting at 6 pm the host will lead the group through one or more guided meditations, walking meditation, or invite everyone to sit in mindful stillness. One may practice meditation or prayer of choice during these practices. All welcome regardless of skill level or spiritual affiliation. Quick Fics Book Group
