Gov. appoints Eppensteiner
MARQUETTE — Zosia Eppensteiner of Marquette has been appointed by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer to the Michigan State Housing Development Authority Statewide Housing Partnership.
Eppenstiner serves as chief executive officer for the Community Foundation of Marquette. She also currently serves as a board member for the Community Development Association of Michigan, and as a Marquette County Ambassador through the Lake Superior Community Partnership.
She holds a master of science degree in mathematics anda master of arts degree in sociology from the University of Gdansk in Poland.
Eppensteiner was appointed to represent organizations that advocate in support of access to resources and services for marginalized individuals and families, for a term that expires on Sept. 6, 2024.
This appointment is not subject to the advice and consent of the Michigan Senate.
