ISHPEMING — Ishpeming residents have the opportunity to sit on the Board of Review to hear assessed taxable value appeals.

There are three vacancies on the five-member board. Board of review members are paid $15 per hour to hear the property tax appeals.

Qualified individuals should file a sworn affidavit of identity with the city clerk to be considered for appointment.

Candidates must be a resident of Ishpeming and registered to vote in the city.

Affidavits of identity should be submitted to the city clerk by Feb. 28.
