Meadows appointed by governor
MARQUETTE — Gov. Gretchen Whitmer has appointed Guy Meadows, Ph.D., of Mohawk, a senior research scientist for Michigan Technological University, to the Environmental Permit Review Commission.
Meadows holds bachelor of science and master of science engineering degrees in mechanical engineering from Michigan State University, and a Ph.D. in marine science from Purdue University.
Meadows is appointed for a term that began on Oct. 18 and will expire on Aug. 28, 2026.
He succeeds Bryan Burroughs whose term expired on Aug. 28.
